The Hocking Hills Indian Run trail winds through vast wooded areas of the Hocking Hills State Park (HHSP) and the Hocking State Forest, crossing small streams, uphill and down. The route covers some dirt roadways and pavement. The deep gorges, shimmering waterfalls and lush forests provide the ultimate challenge to your powers of concentration.

Pre-registration Fees:
All races are $30 per person (plus online processing fee) for your choice of races (5k, 10k, 20k, 40k, 60k)
This fee will increase to $40 when online registration closes at 8am on September 13. The fee for same day registration is $40.

Awards Information:
Prizes for the Top Male & Top Female Overall in each race ( 5k, 10k, 20k, 40k, 60k).
Top Three Male & Top Three Female in each Age Catagory receive place ribbons.
There will not be an awards ceremony.
All awards are picked up at the finish line.

FAQ:
What time do I need to arrive for the 5k and 10k races? You will need to arrive at least thirty minutes prior to the race to check-in and be transported to the start lines. You must start the race between 9:00 am and 11:00 am
Where do I catch the transport to the 5k and 10k races? Watch for a sign to meet near the Naturalist Cabin.
Is there a time limit for completing a race? Yes, all participants must be through the finish line by 3:00pm, in order to have their time recorded and be eligible for an award. Anyone crossing the finish line after 3:00pm will not have their time recorded in the results.
How is this race timed? This is a chip timed race but it is important to wear your bib on the front of your shirt/body in order to receive the most accurate time.
Can I walk one of the races? Yes, walkers are welcome for any race, however, the 5k, 10k, or 20k are recommended for walkers in order t0 complete the race before timing is closed down at 3:00 pm.
Can I bring my dog on the racecourse? Yes, dogs are allowed, however, they must be kept on a leash at all times.
How do I wear my bib? All bibs are to be worn on the chest and visible. Wearing your bib on your hip or back may not allow the overhead antennas to read your chip as you are crossing the finish line.
Are shirts included with my registration fee? Yes, they are included if you register by September 13. However, if you register after September 13, shirts cannot be guaranteed for availability or size.
Is there a place to check my gear? Unfortunately no, due to the loss of the Dining Lodge. Please store your belongings in your vehicle.
Are showers available after the race? No, showers are not available this year due to the loss of the Dining Lodge.
Will there be an awards ceremony after the races? No, there will not be an awards ceremony. All awards can be picked up at the finish line.
Will refreshments be offered at the race site? There will be refreshments available at the finish line.
